David is a humble, brilliant man with integrity. Luckily he doesn't
know how to edit this web-page, or we would end up with a really humble
description which starts, David was born and raised in a small North
Eastern town... which is true. But, he'd leave out the post-industrial
poverty of the town, and the fact that he started writing music practically
out of the womb and shocked his truck-driving father and brother by
playing concerts for his family and friends and then joining the marines
at 17.
What follows over the next few years includes moving to LA and working
his ass-off at 100 different jobs while playing in various little
bands until and the rise of The Almighty Ultrasound to MTV video glory
and 100,000 people concerts along side bands like MatchBox 20, Kiss,
No Doubt, Bush, and The Ramones.
In 2000, David left the band, decided he wanted to get back to the
love for music and less the touring and business. He built a small
studio in his house, and went back to writing and learning the recording
process. In 2003, he joined up with friends Flick, Josh and Billy
as the lead guitar player for 4100, what he describes as the most
fun project he has ever done. The CD they recorded in November 2003
will be released this spring.
In August of 2003, one of David's friends got a copy of some of his
songs to a music supervisor, on Joan of Arcadia. Much to David's surprise,
they put two singles on the series. Now, not only friends who have
been lucky enough to hear David's music and see how amazing his live-performing
is, but strangers from all over the US are writing to David and asking
for more. MORE!
